Jay is much more than his mere qualifications. He is a brand ambassador.”

— Ernest Lee

BIRMINGHAM, AL, USA, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — If you decide that a Combat Motorcycle is in your future, you will likely need to speak to one guy… and one guy alone. Seriously. He’s not a salesman, the title is demeaning to a gentleman of this nature. He’d better align with being the best man in your wedding. Someone you trust to deliver on the expectations you’ve set in your own mind. His name is Jay Etheridge.

Anyone can sell these things, right?! No. Combat Motors creates some of the most elite class machines in the industry. The machines built by Combat Motors, the P-51 Combat Fighter, F-117 Fighter, the FA-13 Combat Bomber and the all new Wraith, do not fit any form or adjective of a “typical” nature and neither do the support staff of Combat Motors. The Combat Motors brand rests on the shoulders of someone that upholds the ideals and expectations of each of their patrons. Enter Jay Etheridge, Brand Ambassador, the person that Combat Motors has entrusted to connect every client to the machine of their specific requirements – fine – “dreams”, the term is overplayed but these bikes are dreamy.

Jay is a Pennsylvania native that relocated to the great south to escape the brutally cold winters of the north. Starting his career in 1995, he is a tenured corporate accounting professional with a finance degree that he initiated at The University of Phoenix and completed at The University of Alabama in 2009. Combat Motors wholly trusts that the numbers he provides our clients are as close to accurate as they can be. However, Jay is much more than his mere qualifications. He is a brand ambassador.

Jay goes far beyond his accounting services for Combat Motors. His dedication to clients’ needs also goes beyond just fielding the calls and completing orders. He also personally delivers each machine to its new owner. Do you remember that saying where someone “eats, sleeps and breaths this stuff”? This is why Combat Motors uses the term ambassador. Jay goes above and beyond for every Combat Motors’ client by exuding the company’s founding principles.
Jay is driven to excellence because he has been empowered to do so. Ernest Lee, owner of the brand, in recognition of Jay’s innate ability to make those around him feel welcomed, has encouraged him to do nothing less for his clients. Even if you’re not in the market yet, Combat Motors encourages everyone to stop by the shop or at their booth at a show to say hello to Jay. You’ll find these words are given substance when you see just what kind of gentleman Jay Etheridge is.

Combat Motors is dedicated to excellence. Whether it is a simple inquiry to the price and availability of a pre-owned machine or something that is destined to be as unique as your one-in-a-googolplex personality, you will never feel pressured by Jay. Combat Motors is shaping the company to be unlike anything you’ve experienced in the past; from “Follow My Build” features that showcase your actual motorcycle being constructed, to the personal involvement of Jay’s assurances and support during the sales or service process. One call to Jay Ethereridge is all that it takes to become a part of history in the making.

Influential Lifestyle Brand Entrepreneur Brad Pyatt Hints at the Next Big Trend

The industry thought leader is behind recent trailblazing ventures, and he's nearly ready to launchsomething he predicts will be huge

DENVER, CO, USA, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Having an agile, strategic mindset served Brad Pyatt well as an NFL athlete. These attributes continue to power his career as a successful health and wellness entrepreneur. Once named among the Top 50 Successful Athlete Entrepreneurs of All Time and among the Top 100 Influential Leaders in the Food Industry, Pyatt has a reputation for upending traditional thinking to create multi-million dollar brands.

Cracking the difficult codes

"My strength is being able to peek around the corner and find the trends before they become trends," comments Pyatt, whose track record off the field has been filled with big wins. He and wife Stephanie amassed numerous celebrity endorsements when they formed Tru Brands, Inc. and launched TruWomen, 100 percent plant-based protein bars with fun, playful names targeting the women's nutrition market.

An easy route might have been just capitalizing on the plant-based trend. But that's not how Pyatt does business. "We're dedicated to cracking the difficult codes. It took us two years, and hundreds of renovations, before we were ready to debut TruWomen to the market in 2018," Brad Pyatt recalls.

"Our challenges were texture and taste. We were not satisfied with just coming out with a plant-based bar. We focused on disrupting the category with the best-tasting plant-based product and the best-tasting protein bar. We solved the challenge with a coated bar, which hides a lot of the protein within the coating."

Marketed as indulgent nutrition, TruWomen is a taste-based candy bar alternative. The product line won Vegan Protein Bar of the Year in 2020, and the UK's Nourish Award for plant-based ingredient products. Its fans include Halle Berry and Megan Fox. Brad Pyatt negotiated for TruWomen to be distributed by Target, Whole Foods and Costco Canada, among other locations.

"My success with TruWomen caused me to dig deeper into ingredient technologies and how these products are produced," he reflects. Pyatt sold Tru Brands in 2019 to focus on his next creative venture.

Pyatt next helped introduce the world to citrus-based CBD

Ever the disruptor, Pyatt founded Tasty Idea, LLC in 2018 to use his imaginative ideas to accelerate growth for food and beverage companies. To date, Pyatt and his team have launched more than 500 products and won 20 industry awards.

But the idea that turns the most heads lately is Peels, the only company in America selling citrus-based CBD. Brad Pyatt is one of the founding shareholders. "I like to bring solutions to categories with new ingredient technology. We didn't want to be part of the hemp dialogue," he explains. "With Peels, we can make CBD even more accessible and worry-free because it's not from hemp, is 100 percent THC-free and it is not governed by the same legal restrictions."

Peels CBD is made from orange peels and marketed as citrus-derived wellness. It is molecularly identical to the CBD produced from cannabis plants and offers the same holistic effects. "It alleviates most of the consumer concerns about CBD products: There are no toxic impurities. It is FDA Standards and GRAS certified. And there are no concerns about positive drug tests."

What's next for this driven athlete-turned-entrepreneur?

Brad Pyatt gives a small glimpse into where he'll next apply his energies. "I am intrigued by sports nutrition innovation. There are ingredients that have been around for decades, but that doesn't mean there isn't something new to bring to market with some smart technological re-imagining. My ‘what's next' will be what I call a cool, T-shirt worthy lifestyle brand: a name and logo consumers will want to wear.

"Stay tuned because I'm about to usher in a new era of sports nutrition."

LITERACY TO LEGACY MENTORS PROVIDES PERSONAL FINANCE EDUCATION AND MENTORING TO HELP PEOPLE MASTER THEIR FINANCIAL LIVES

Literacy to Legacy Mentors First-of-its-Kind Independent Personal Finance Education Mentoring Company

Literacy To Legacy Mentors Reframing Your Financial Future Debuts in Connecticut

Literacy to Legacy Mentors Founder, Chief Prosperity Officer and Mentor Launches in Connecticut

Deborah Pratt Johnson Burns Launches Connecticut’s First-of-its-Kind Personal Finance Education Mentoring Company

CONNECTICUT'S FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND INDEPENDENT PERSONAL FINANCE EDUCATION AND MENTORING COMPANY

CONNECTICUT, UNITED STATES, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Most Americans today face serious financial challenges, particularly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help address this, Deborah Pratt Johnson Burns today announced the launch of Literacy to Legacy Mentors, LLC Reframing Your Financial Future, A Pratt Prosperity Company. Burns, a well-established financial and business mentor, successful private investor, entrepreneur, and builder of six and seven-figure businesses, will provide personalized financial mentoring and education services. Her mission? To help clients increase their financial IQ, honestly examine their money habits and behaviors, and begin to take charge of their financial lives. The company is the first-of-its-kind in Connecticut, launching in celebration of Financial Literacy Month.

According to surveys from the Pew Research Center, and the National Endowment for Financial Education:

• Nearly 9 in 10 Americans report that Covid -19 is causing stress on their finances
• 34% are extremely concerned about their personal financial outlook 12 months from now
• 31% are not able to save any money each month
• One-quarter of Americans have trouble paying their bills

“I have realized a growing need for concrete, easy-to-understand financial education and mentoring for young professionals to retirees,” Burns said. “There’s a lot of fear, confusion, uncertainty, poor financial habits ingrained early, and even general avoidance of the subject. The pandemic has only made matters worse.” She added, “I’m launching Literacy to Legacy Mentors for consumers seeking unbiased personalized financial education and mentoring services, designed to help them meet their specific financial goals.”

Based on her experience as the PR agent-of-record for U.S. Trust in New England for more than a decade, and as PR strategist and director of the national launch of Rockefeller & Co., Inc.'s RockIT Solutions, Burns is passionate about helping people build a strong financial foundation, wealth and a legacy.

She added, “Financial literacy is not formally taught in high school or college unless it’s a one-off personal finance course or as part of a finance or business degree. As a result, many consumers don’t have an advantage in business or life without the financial tools and knowledge they need to succeed and I’m committed to helping change that paradigm.” According to The Council for Economic Education, as of 2021, only six U.S. states require High School students to complete a personal finance course to graduate.

Burns will provide personalized personal finance mentoring and education services for individuals, university and college students, entrepreneurs, business executives, families, and retirees, by the hour or on a month-to-month retainer basis. Clients will have ready access to her national strategic partner network of veteran estates and trusts and eldercare attorneys, tax specialists, and college financial aid experts who will offer more comprehensive personalized services for a separate fee. In addition, consumers will have access to timely, relevant content and insightful articles on topics ranging from college financial aid and estates and trusts planning to personal money management.

This summer, online and in-person classes, workshops, and one-day and weekend retreats will be added, covering a wide range of personal finance and business topics. Burns will also be offering membership and private event packages for friends, families, businesses, and associations.

When we created NVBDC in 2013, the question that just wouldn’t go away was, would America’s Corporations really hire service-disabled and veteran-owned businesses (SD/VOBs) as their suppliers? We are proud to answer that question with a resounding YES.

We recently reached a milestone of having 100 active corporate members but an interesting factoid: we welcomed additional new corporate members and the numbers keep growing.

NVBDC is proud to welcome Fender as its newest Corporate Member. Fender is committed to supporting NVBDC Certified Service Disabled and Veteran Owned Businesses (SD/VOBs). This includes an ongoing effort to enhance their outreach to secure SD/VOBs in their procurement opportunities.

Martha's Vineyard Makes the Front Cover of Hilarious New Book, "Cartoons Too Funny For The New Yorker"

Book cover of hilarious new book of cartoons. East Coast version features popular subjects: Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, etc.

Nuns with rulers fend off scary aliens

Aliens talking about Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk at the French Laundry

"Not Just Wickedly Funny," Says Professor, "But a Whopper Typo Will Have Martha's Vineyard Types Passing the Knee-slapping Book to Their Friends at Happy Hour"

McGuire's cartoons are too funny and edgy for The New Yorker, hence the name of the book.”

— Scott Sklar – George Washington University Professor

BOSTON, MA, USA, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Planning to visit Martha's Vineyard soon?

As of today, you'll be joined by two green aliens and their black dog.

Award-winning Washington, D.C. author, publisher and travel photographer has just published a hilarious book of "New Yorker Style' cartoons, and picked his favorite cartoon to grace the cover of the book. The cartoon is of two green aliens and their black dog planning to 'summer' on the popular island.

"McGuire's cartoons are too funny and edgy for The New Yorker Magazine," says Scott Sklar a George Washington University Professor who was raised in New York City, "hence the name of the book. Most magazine cartoons are 'gag' cartoons with a simple punch-line, whereas McGuire's have overlapping layers of humor. The cartoon gracing the cover of this new book, for example, contains five different funny elements, especially for those who 'get' the black dog reference."

This book is an East Coast edition and a West Coast version will be out shortly!

McGuire, who comes from a family of artists and architects, currently has 12 coffee table books in print but decided to expand into cartoons. "Many magazine cartoons are a bit sophomoric," says McGuire, "So I like to weave in complexity by including current references to food, wine, travel, science, medicine, and cultural news, as well as notables like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Lady Gaga and George Clooney. "In fact, he says, "spell check doesn't always catch super modern words like bitcoin, blockchain, and dogecoin."

"I love drawing aliens because, people are hard to draw and talking aliens are a juxtaposition between reality and non-reality adding more humor. My second favorite cartoon, perfect for all the Catholics in New York and New England who were whacked by nuns with rulers, show nuns with rulers at a stand-off with menacing looking aliens."

McGuire points out an expression in the cartoon world, "It is not the ink, it is the think," meaning no matter how well drawn the cartoon is, it needs to be funny! "And," he says, "cartoons by nature are caricatures, so the drawing can be wildly out-side-the-box as long as they represent the characters."

This East Coast Edition weaves in Eastern Seaboard references like New England prep schools, Martha's Vineyard, Central Park, Cape Cod & clam chowder. The West Coast Edition does the same for Hollywood, Napa Valley and the French Laundry.

Now, see if you can spot the typo, caused by predictive text and not caught by spell-check. In the book's introduction McGuire explains why he doesn't do political cartoons: "I don’t produce political cartoons as most politicians, like the late Donald Trump, create their own outsized caricatures by their own sheer buffoonery."

It has gone to press so I can't change it," says McGuire, "Besides Trump is still 'late' for anything noble: civility, dignity, grace, honor, kindness, etc."
