Hydrating the Functional Beverage Category: M Kombucha’s New Elixir Delivers Powerhouse of Electrolytes & Optimal Taste

Beyond Hydration by M Kombucha, Powered by Buoy

Powered by Buoy® Hydration, M Kombucha Launches ‘Beyond Hydration,’ a Refreshing Kombucha Elixir Enriched with Electrolytes, B Vitamins, and Antioxidants.

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, USA, September 9, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — Active and healthy lifestyle consumers who demand peak performance from sports drinks now have a new choice when it comes to hydrating after a yoga class, workout, or long run. Emerging beverage brand M Kombucha and start-up company, Buoy Hydration, have partnered together and are pleased to announce their high-quality, electrolyte-dense ‘Beyond Hydration’; a functional kombucha flavored with fresh, organic cold-pressed Grapefruit and Ginger.

Molecular biologist and M Kombucha’s Co-founder, Adi Ramon, realized the beverage category was missing clean and refreshing hydration, “It made perfect sense to create a truly hydrating kombucha, one that would complement M’s existing functional beverage line designed for health-conscious and active consumers.” According to a study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control, more than 75% of Americans are dehydrated, leading to chronic illness, fatigue, and other ailments. This surprising statistic prompted the founders of Buoy Hydration and M Kombucha to collaborate and create ‘Beyond Hydration.’

M Kombucha’s ‘Beyond Hydration’ is powered by Buoy Hydration’s formula of low-sodium, all-natural, hand-harvested sea salts, including 87 micronutrients and trace minerals. Unlike other leading sports drinks and hydrating powders that lose key minerals due to processing, ‘Beyond Hydration’ is able to keep the good nutrients in, while replenishing the body with natural electrolytes, B vitamins, and antioxidants – in the most refreshing way.

Dr. Lianli Li, Ph.D., President of Gateway Pharmaceutical in St. Louis, Missouri, helped Buoy Hydration founders create their proprietary blend of electrolytes. “Dehydration prevents your brain and body from functioning properly, and most of us are living our lives under the optimal hydration level,” says Dr. Li. “The combination of M Kombucha and Buoy gives consumers the proper hydration they need, and together, ‘Beyond Hydration’ works wonders in boosting brain function and enhancing the nervous system.”

When Water Isn’t Enough: A Thirst-Quenching Experience
Ramon recalls a personal experience she had with ‘Beyond Hydration’ and how it positively impacted her life. “We were hiking in the desert near Ojai on a hot day, and I was drinking plenty of water, but it wasn’t enough. Later that night, I began having symptoms of severe dehydration – headache, upset stomach, fatigue, and nausea. After plenty of rest and countless glasses of water, I still wasn’t feeling better. That’s when I remembered I had brought ‘Beyond Hydration’ with us in the cooler in the car,” adds Ramon. “As soon as I drank a cold ‘Beyond Hydration,’ I could instantaneously feel the benefits by replenishing what my body had depleted, and it brought me back to life.”

Electrolytes, which are naturally bitter, can pose a challenge when it comes to taste. That explains why the founders of Buoy Hydration have meticulously spent the past three years, ensuring their hydration formula did not compromise the taste of any drink. "Americans are simply not getting the proper hydration they need. Habitually consumers reach for sugar-packed sports drinks and processed powders to help keep them refreshed without receiving the benefits of natural electrolytes," says Buoy Hydration Co-Founder Daniel Schindler. "At Buoy, we squeeze back in what life takes out of you. Our product is all-natural and made without sugars or flavors."

What’s Inside?
Each batch of M Kombucha’s ‘Beyond Hydration’ is made with three servings of Buoy Hydration, Fair Trade Black and Green Teas*, Purified Water, Kombucha Culture*, Fair Trade Evaporated Cane Sugar* (needed for kombucha fermentation), Cold-Pressed Grapefruit* and Ginger*
(* Organic Ingredient). The Kombucha, enriched with Buoy's Hydration formula, includes Low-Sodium Sea Minerals, Herbal Extracts*, and B Vitamins, which provide a unique and efficacious hydration elixir that no other kombucha brand offers:

Low-Sodium Sea Minerals (Sodium, Chloride, Magnesium, and Potassium):
• Electrolytes and minerals are crucial to delivering water to the body’s cells. Without enough sodium and chloride in the body, it won’t be able to balance fluids.
• Buoy Hydration sources its natural sea salts from France. Sea salt helps healthy pH levels, balances electrolytes, supports brain, muscle, and nerve function, aids in detoxification and digestion, and prevents dehydration.
• As an electrolyte, potassium has a positive impact on the brain, and with proper potassium levels, more oxygen will reach the brain, boosting cognitive function. Muscle cramps are common for people who don’t get enough potassium.

Herbal Extracts (Acacia, Star Anise, and Rosemary):
• Acacia is used for medical purposes and acts as a prebiotic to increase beneficial bacteria and is excellent for metabolic and gut health.
• Star Anise is rich in antioxidants and vitamins A and C. It helps fight free radicals and is known as a natural way to fight off colds and the flu, plus it’s a digestive aid, alleviates cramps, and reduces nausea.
• Rosemary is not only commonly found in kitchens but is an ancient medicinal herb that also aids in digestion and memory while boosting the immune system.

B Vitamins (B1, B5, and B6):
• Vitamin B1 is a crucial component to helping electrolytes flow in and out of cells and supports the proper functioning of the nervous system and muscles.
• Vitamin B5 helps sharpen memory and reduces brain fog, and produces acetylcholine, which functions as a neurotransmitter that helps the brain and nervous system function.
• Vitamin B6 is needed for neuron transmission in your brain and helps serotonin production, which improves brain performance and mood.

Association Helps Seniors Prepare For Medicare Annual Election Period

Jesse Slome Medicare Insurance Association Director

Jesse Slome, Director, American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance

Local Medicare insurance agents brokers directory

The national directory listing local Medicare insurance agents and brokers

Compare Medicare insurance plans costs

Compare 2020 Medicare insurance plans and costs

Valuable tips and resources will help Medicare-eligible seniors compare options and costs. 2020 Medicare Insurance Price Index released.

It's logical to think that buying direct from an insurer is going to be better and save you money. But that's simply not true. A local Medicare insurance agent can offer identical plans and costs.”

— Jesse Slome

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — To help Medicare eligible seniors the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance has added relevant information to the organization's online Consumer Information Center.

"Medicare is enormously complex and finding the best option and cost can be overwhelming," explains Jesse Slome, director of the national organization. "Medicare's Annual Election Period (AEP) begins October 15th, a peak decision time for millions who are already on Medicare. In addition some 11,000 individuals turn 65 every day and become eligible for Medicare."

10 Tips For Selecting Your Medicare Plan

The Association shares 10 tips and important considerations that can help a consumer find the best Medicare insurance costs. "Many Medicare Advantage plans now offer a zero plan cost which sounds great," shares Slome. "But they may have a high deductible that can cost thousands of dollars when you have a hospital stay."

Some Medicare Supplement insurance plans offer household discounts. The potential savings can be as high as 14 percent according to the Association's Info Center. Another suggested tip is asking for the company's history of premium rate increases; a valuable indication of what one might expect down the road. To read 10 Tips for Medicare Insurance Planning go to the Association's website.

2020 Lowest and Highest Medicare Supplement Prices

The Association's 2020 Medicare Insurance Price Index reports the lowest and highest prices for nearly 100 leading cities across the U.S. The index shows costs for Medigap Plan G, the most popular option selected by those signing up for Medicare Supplement insurance at age 65.

"The cost difference can be significant," Slome points out. "In Atlanta, a 65-year-old woman might pay as little as $102-monthly or as much as $244-monthly for virtually identical insurance coverage. Over time the savings potential is well over $10,000 achieved simply by making the right choice."

What's Missing From The Government's Medicare Website?

The Medicare.gov website is an outstanding resource but it can be overwhelming to navigate and there are some important things the government doesn't tell you, Slome admits.

"It's logical to think that buying direct from an insurer is going to be better and that it will save you money," Slome explains. "But that's simply not true. A local Medicare insurance agent can offer you the identical plan and costs, if any. More important, they can help you learn about and evaluate the pros and cons of all the options in your area."

The Association's website contains 18 things every consumer should know that the Medicare.gov website might not clearly explain. The information was shared by leading Medicare insurance professionals. "These knowledgeable pros don't charge to educate local seniors. Speaking to one during Medicare's Annual Election Period might be the most important thing you do," the Association director advises.

Free Directory Lists Local Medicare Insurance Agents

The Association makes available a free online directory of Medicare insurance agents brokers who offer Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan options. Access is free and completely private.

The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI) is a national organization based in Los Angeles, CA. AAMSI advocates for the importance of planning and supports insurance professionals who offer Medicare plan options. MEDICAL MARIJUANA: A CLINICAL HANDBOOK Brings the Science of Cannabis to Wider Audience

Medical Marijuana: A Clinical Handbook

Medical Marijuana: A Clinical Handbook

MEDICAL MARIJUANA: A CLINICAL HANDBOOK Brings the Science of Cannabis to Wider Audience and Describes Risks and Benefits of Cannabis-Based Medicines

This timely medical marijuana clinical handbook is the most comprehensive and best book on the topic in my opinion.”

— Stephen Ross, MD, NYU Grossman School of Medicine

NEW YORK, NY, USA, September 9, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — Despite the booming cannabis industry and increasingly popular medicinal cannabis programs throughout the country, very few people, whether patients or clinicians, understand the complex science of the plant or its effect on the brain and the body. While there have been dozens of books that celebrate cannabis and just as many that denigrate it, there has yet to be one that offers an unbiased and cleareyed look at the science of cannabis and the cannabinoids. By taking an evidence-based approach and avoiding familiar political tropes, Drs. Samoon Ahmad and Kevin P. Hill have finally done just that with their new book: Medical Marijuana: A Clinical Handbook (Wolters Kluwer, September 2020).

Cannabis has been cultivated and used for thousands of years, yet it remains not just enigmatic but deeply polarizing. As they write in the book's prologue, "It is our hope that we can eliminate unwarranted stigmas that continue to hound this quirky plant and to dispel any notions that cannabis is either a miracle drug or the devil's weed. If nothing else, we hope to provide our peers in the medical community with some degree of clarity so that they can make decisions based on the best available evidence and pass on accurate information to patients."

Both authors have extensive clinical experience and academic backgrounds. Dr. Hill is an addiction specialist and currently Director of the Division of Addiction Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard University, and author of Marijuana: The Unbiased Truth About the World’s Most Popular Weed. Dr. Ahmad is a practicing physician in New York City, Founder of the Integrative Center for Wellness, and a Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He has also written extensively about PTSD and coauthored multiple books, including the recent edition of Kaplan & Sadock’s Pocket Handbook of Clinical Psychiatry.

“Excellently written,” said Dr. Stephen Ross, MD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Addictive Disorders and Experimental Therapeutics Research Laboratory at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, “The book provides an enormous amount of concise and clinically relevant information on everything related to medical cannabis including historical and regulatory aspects, the dizzying diversity of the many cannabis constituent components, review of the endocannabinoid system, relevant pharmacology, therapeutic preparations and the existing and potential clinical applications of medical cannabis throughout medicine, psychiatry and neurology.”

Apart from focusing on tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the intoxicating substance in cannabis and typically the focal point of medical marijuana programs, the authors also examine the relevant science on many other cannabinoids found in the plant, especially cannabidiol (CBD). They have also painstakingly researched the local and federal laws governing its use and created a state-by-state guide for clinicians and patients. To ensure this information is current, they have also created a companion website, cannabistextbook.com, that will monitor changes to local, state, and federal regulations as they occur. The site will also publish recent cannabis-related research articles.

The book is organized to allow for easy reference. The initial chapters focus on general information about the plant, including its classification, morphology, history, and constituents. It then moves on to a cultural history of cannabis and marijuana in the United States to provide a context for the regulations and laws currently governing its use. It then describes the body’s endocannabinoid system and the pharmacological profile of CBD and THC before moving on to applications for cannabis in specialty practices such as:

• Endocrinology
• Oncology
• Gastroenterology
• Neurology
• Psychiatry
• Gynecology
• Rheumatology
• Internal medicine
• Ophthalmology
• Hepatology
• Dermatology

Finally, the authors describe the dangers of excessive cannabis use, cannabis use disorder, and potential adverse effects.
“Patients will continue to turn to medical cannabis,” Dr. Hill writes in his prologue. “We want to educate health care professionals so that they are in a better position to help patients when this happens.”

Reviews

"…a powerful asset for any medical professional to add to their arsenal of knowledge as much of the scientific advancement regarding cannabis has been suppressed up until recently." – Noemi Gonzales, Green Market Report

“The authors have written an extremely comprehensive book that will give readers a more nuanced appreciation of cannabis. This includes its potential therapeutic value, its effects on the endocannabinoid system, and the part it has played in cultures throughout the world.”
-Joyce Cenali, Founding Partner & COO of Big Rock Partners, a strategic advisory firm

"Drs. Ahmad and Hill have written a very timely, unbiased book that presents the benefits and risks associated with the use of cannabis and that will help bring greater transparency to the debate over cannabis’ legitimacy as a therapeutic drug. Clearly written and very well organized, the book's second half allows readers the ability to jump between chapters to learn how THC and CBD affect different bodily systems. The first half of the book, meanwhile, provides an in-depth look at the pharmacology of both CBD and THC, examples of how cannabis has been used by numerous cultures for medicinal or ritualistic purposes, and a detailed timeline that follows the history of cannabis regulations in the United States through the 20th century. Though written primarily for healthcare practitioners and clinicians, anyone hoping to gain a greater understanding about cannabis and its therapeutic applications will find this work extremely informative and helpful."

Experts at National Floors Direct Discuss the Major Benefits of Installing Solid Hardwood Flooring in Your Home

National Floors Direct

The flooring experts at National Floors Direct recently discussed the many benefits of installing solid hardwood flooring in your home.

ASTORIA, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — Hardwood flooring isn't for every home. Homes with multiple pets or a high amount of foot traffic may experience scratching or denting of hardwood floors. However, for most homeowners, hardwood flooring can present a number of major benefits as opposed to laminate, tile, vinyl, or carpet. The experts at National Floors Direct recently discussed some of these major benefits.

"There's no denying that hardwood is some of the best-looking flooring available," National Floors Direct experts said. "It adds warmth, elegance, and a more open feeling to almost every home."

The National Floors Direct experts explained that hardwood flooring can make a great first impression on those who enter your home. It tends to make spaces look bigger and more inviting.

"Another major benefit of hardwood flooring is that it can be extremely easy to clean," National Floors Direct experts said. "Pet dander, dust mites, and other hazards are not issues like they would be with carpet. Hardwoods are also highly stain-resistant."

The experts at National Floors Direct added that hardwood floors are generally more durable than most homeowners think. Hardwood flooring is quite difficult to dent or scratch when it is maintained properly. Purchase hardwood flooring from flooring experts like those at National Floors Direct, and you'll be informed on the best ways to maintain your hardwoods to prevent scratching, even if you have pets or kids.

"Hardwood flooring almost always adds value to a home," National Floors Direct experts said. "Modern buyers are typically looking for homes without carpet, especially carpet that has already been used by another family."

National Floors Direct experts explained that, many times, homebuyers see replacing carpet as one of the first steps they'll take when moving into a new home. A home that is already equipped with quality hardwood flooring could have the upper hand if a homebuyer is considering a number of homes.

The experts at National Floors Direct added that hardwood flooring can allow for superior air quality in a home. It can be especially beneficial for residents with allergies to pollen, pet dander, dust, and other small particles. Carpet has the most fibers, but laminate and tile also have embossing and grout lines that can trap allergens. The National Floors Direct team always suggests hardwood flooring to anyone who suffers from allergies.

"Solid hardwood flooring can drastically upgrade any home," the experts at National Floors Direct finished. "They're easy to clean, help deter allergens, and add timeless beauty that simply can't be rivaled by carpet, tile, and other flooring options."

Contact the experts at National Floors Direct to learn about their long list of hardwood flooring options and how hardwood flooring can benefit your home and its value.

Air Freshener Market Growth in Manufacturing Sector after COVID-19 Pandemic Provides Huge Opportunities

Air Freshner Market

global air freshener market was valued at $10,124.4 Mn in 2017, and is expected to garner $13,279.1 Mn by 2025, registering a CAGR of 3.5% from 2018 to 2025.

PORTLAND, OR, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — According to a new report published by Allied Market Research, titled, "Air Freshener Market by Product Type, Application, and Type of Customers: Global Opportunity Analysis and Industry Forecast, 2018 – 2025," the global air freshener market size was valued at $10,124.4 million in 2017, and is expected to garner $13,279.1 million by 2025, registering a CAGR of 3.5% from 2018 to 2025. An air freshener is a product that typically emits fragrance to eliminate unpleasant odor in a room. It contains different ingredients such as aerosol propellants, fragrances, and solvents such as 2-butoxyethanol, mineral oil, and glycol ethers, which neutralize unpleasant odor. These air fresheners adsorb the bad odor, thereby masking the bad smell in the air. Air fresheners are being used throughout society. Typically, indoor environments with air fresheners may include buildings and facilities such as offices, schools, hospitals, theaters, stores, hotels, health clubs, restaurants, restrooms, and more. Apart from these indoor environments they are also being used in transportation such as airplanes, cars, taxis, buses, trains, terminals, boats, and many more.

In-depth analysis of the COVID-19 impact on the Air Freshener Market @ https://www.alliedmarketresearch.com/request-for-customization/815?reqfor=covid

The growth of the air freshener industry is driven by increase in disposable income of people along with rise in the living standards of consumers around the globe. Moreover, increase in concerns over indoor air quality have led to a high demand for air fresheners worldwide. Furthermore, rapid growth in car sales along with a surge in number of pets ownerships and increase in consumers’ willingness to use premium air fresheners are expected to boost the growth of the global air freshener market. However, high cost of production hampers the widespread adoption and act as the major restraint for the global air freshener market. On the contrary, increase in demand for high-end lifestyles and luxury in everyday lives provides lucrative opportunity for the use of air fresheners in an extensive manner. The need for luxury has increased at a rapid pace due to rise in disposable income of individuals. Moreover, bad odor in hospitals or healthcare centers due to chemicals and bacterial infections fuels the demand for air fresheners. In near future, these areas would be prime opportunity areas for the growth of the air freshener industry.

The sprays/aerosols segment accounted for the highest share in the product type segment. The market for sprays/aerosols is driven by ease of use and availability all over the world. The gel air freshener segment is expected to witness substantial growth with CAGR of 4.2% throughout the forecast period. This was attributed to increase in adoption of this product for use in cars. There has been a surge in the growth of cars, which has positively impacted the growth of gel air fresheners worldwide.

The household segment dominated the application segment in the air freshener market. This was attributed to favorable demography and rise in inclination toward sanitation throughout the globe. However, the car segment is projected to grow at the highest CAGR of 4.0% throughout the forecast period. This was attributed to increased disposable income and rise in affinity of consumers to spend on premium products. Moreover, surge in the growth of the automobile industry has also helped achieve this high growth rate.

The individual customers had the highest share in the “type of customer” segment. This was due to rise in affinity of consumers toward sanitation and premium products. Moreover, attractive advertising and ease of availability also drive the global air freshener market growth. The enterprise customer segment is expected to witness the highest CAGR of 4.3% throughout the air freshener market forecast owing to increase in adoption of air care products in offices and other landmarks to maintain good environmental hygiene.

Key Findings Of The Study
• Based on product type, the sprays/aerosols segment was the highest contributor to the air freshener market and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.3% from 2018 to 2025.
